Senior Advisor / Co-founder – Water Infrastructure & Climate Resilience

Lars is Co-Founder and Senior Advisor at YonSen Group, bringing more than 20 years of international experience in hydrology, hydraulic modelling, drainage and climate adaptation.

His work spans Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, covering urban water systems, airports, tunnels, bridges and major flood protection infrastructure.

Combining technical expertise with extensive project leadership experience, Lars helps clients turn complex water challenges into practical, resilient solutions. He has guided multidisciplinary teams from early feasibility studies through detailed design and construction support, with a strong focus on quality and close collaboration with clients and partners.

Lars has worked on projects in more than 25 countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. This geographical breadth brings an understanding of different regulatory frameworks, climatic conditions and local working practices, helping him collaborate effectively with clients, contractors and project teams across borders.

His project experience includes Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, the Faroe Islands, Germany, Italy, Greece and Turkey; India, Bangladesh, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Viet Nam, the Philippines and the Maldives; Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iraq; Uganda, Rwanda and Morocco; and the United States, Canada and Venezuela.
